The Tourist Offices of Spain are the representatives abroad of the Instituto de Turismo de España ( TURESPAÑA), wich is the Administrative unit of the Central Goverment of Spain in charge of promoting Spain abroad as a tourism destination. In order to do so, we carry out our activities in the following areas:  1) Planing, development, and execution of ctivities aimed at promoting Spain as a tourism destination in the international markets. 2) Support of the marketing of Spanish tourism products abroad in cooperation with the regional and local authorities and the private sector. We also provide general tourism information on Spain through the folloing departments: - Information, which attends to the general public. - Public Relations, wich attends to marketing and to the media ( Press, TV, etc.). - Trade Relations, wich attends to the tarvel professonals ( Tour Operators, Travel Agents, etc.).
