Marketing support
In the form of actions in support of marketing, Turespaña provides Spanish tourism companies and destinations with assistance when working with middlemen in source markets, in such a way that travel agencies and tour operators can offer these products and services to their end customers.At present, the actions in support of marketing offered by Turespaña focus on the presence of companies and destinations at the main international fairs, as well as the organisation of sessions in support of marketing, both direct (in the source markets) and reverse (in Spain).Efforts are also being made to develop air connections between Spain and its source markets.Finally, this pillar of Turespaña's activity encompasses all training actions aimed at both the Spanish sector (in the form of workshops on demand, the functioning of different sectors, such as aviation, etc.) as well as source markets (by training agents and tour operators as part of the Spain Specialist Programme)
